Right from the first sip this refreshing concoction comes out swinging, much like the Dutch sailors who originally popularized Genever. Crisp rhubarb combined with juniper and Campari make this a strong summertime contender. What’s your fancy?
My passion for crafting new and classic cocktails started when I became a stagiaire at The Gibson in Washington, DC. I took the name St. Monday in memory of the centuries old tradition of getting paid on Saturday, drinking on Sunday and – if necessary – invoking Saint Monday’s holiday the next morning.
While this divinely inspired intervention eventually phased out, its spirit lives on whenever we find time to enjoy a well-deserved libation. My desire is to continue learning, growing and sharing my repertoire as I honor the rich and vibrant tradition of mixology.
Like the people that enjoy them, each cocktail must be inspired and tell a unique story. St. Monday specializes in new libation projects and is passionate about crafting an original drink for you. All new recipes are the result of an interview, research and experimentation process that culminates in a personal presentation and tasting.
We call them classics for a reason - some drinks were never new and somehow never get old. Any bartender worth their apron should have at least the classics under their belt and jump at the chance to serve you history in a glass. St. Monday uses traditional ingredients and methods so you get the most authentic taste and experience possible.
When the drinks need to be as unforgettable as your evening, the situation calls for an expert. St. Monday can work with you to author a custom drink menu, source rare ingredients, collaborate with a chef or catering group or even connect you with trusted industry colleagues for a complete menu solution.
From intimate soirees to bustling festivals St. Monday is ready and willing to be onsite for bar service, mixology demonstrations and group training sessions. Let's talk about your event and work together on a plan for cocktail-related programming. This saint makes house calls and is happy to bring the party wherever you are.
